PoemCity 2026
Montpelier's PoemCity was started in 2010 by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in celebration of National Poetry Month. Visitors to downtown Montpelier can find Vermonter-written poems posted in storefront windows throughout the month. In addition, community events are held such as a kid's open mic poetry night, book launches, and poetry readings.
You can find a calendar of events on the Kellogg-Hubbard Library website.
We’ll have poems in our windows - stay tuned to learn about the authors!
