During October's Montpelier Art Walk, we’re featuring Montpelier printmaker Jo Marsan of The Campy Bird Studio. They are also the second participant in our Emerging Artisan & Art Walk Program.

Jo creates handmade prints of native Vermont plants and animals with an emphasis on line-work, contrast, and vibrant color. They print using environmentally-friendly water-based inks on 100% cotton paper.

They received their BFA in printmaking from Ohio University before settling in Vermont. In addition to printmaking, Jo has a background in graphic design and mural arts. If you're ever in Morrisville, be sure to check out their gorgeous mural at the Village Center Apartments on Hutchins Street.
