The next Montpelier Art Walk is coming up on August 7, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This event is a great way to get a taste of the local art scene in our sweet city.

During Art Walk, Artisans Hand is excited to feature the work of Fairfax artist and art teacher Nicole Vance. During Art Walk, not only will she have her work on display, but she'll also be teaching a hands-on project.

Nicole has been teaching art for 18 years both privately and through the public library and Vermont school system. She also enjoys carpentry and trained through Vermont Works of Women.

She likes to dabble in many different mediums and has recently started an exploration of three-dimensional space through the medium of collage using construction scraps combined with monoprints and natural elements.
