The next Montpelier Art Walk is coming up on August 1, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This event is a great way to get a taste of the local art scene in our sweet city.

Artisans Hand is featuring Jeff and Ellen Falsgraf of Vermont Spoon. The two artisans handcraft spoons out of locally sourced hardwoods in their Richmond, Vermont studio. They create a variety of cooking and eating spoons, as well as other kitchen utensils such as spatulas.

Jeff will show how to finish-carve and shape with a knife, while Ellen will be sanding and raising the grain, and demonstrating the oiling process.
