Hooray! We Won a Seven Daysies Award!

We are so thrilled to have won a Seven Daysies Award for Best Place to Buy a Unique Gift Outside Chittenden County (what a mouthful)!

Thanks so much to all of you who voted for us. It shows us that you believe what we do - that handmade craft is has value. That the skilled and passionate artisans in Vermont who make this work are important.

The work we sell is so much more than just gifts. Craft holds stories and experiences, preserves traditions, and expresses cultural identity. Our hope is that our customers get that feeling when they come into our gallery.

And we know that our wonderful staff really make this place something special - thanks go to them as well!

A quote we're especially geeking out over: While the tagline “fine contemporary crafts” might sound rather formal - perhaps even snooty - Montpelier mainstay Artisans Hand is anything but. For nearly 50 years, the downtown gallery has maintained a funky artist co-op vibe.
