Vermont Open Studio Weekend is Coming!
Vermont Open Studio Weekend is coming up this Memorial Day Weekend on May 23 & 24!
The event is a celebration of the visual arts and creative process, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a variety of artists and craftspeople in their studios, some of whom are only open to the public during this event.
A number of our artists are participating in the event and you can get a preview of everyone's work before you start exploring - we have a display in the center of the gallery featuring all our exhibitor studios.
Here's the lowdown on who's participating:
#19: Jean Meinhardt/Meinhardt Design - Hand-thrown porcelain pottery, microcrystalline glazes. Richmond.
#30: Deborah Holmes/Deborah Holmes Art - Watercolors, giclee prints and acryla-gouache paintings. Bristol.
#84: Amy Hook-Therrien - Detailed paintings of the natural world. White River Junction.
#97: Anne Made/Anne Davis - Bold and colorful paintings. Barre.
#98: Kip Sabens Woodturning/Kip Sabens - Turned Wooden Bowls, Local Wood. Barre.
#105: Mike Sullivan/The Mud Studio - Clay Gallery and Education Center. Waterbury.
#115: Kelly McMahon/May Day Studio - Quirky paper goods, letterpress, bookbinding. Montpelier.
#116: Elissa Campbell/Blue Roof Designs - Handbound books, journals, artist's books. Montpelier.
#118: Steven Bronstein/Blackthorne Forge - Functional and sculptural, contemporary ironwork. Marshfield.
#132: Matt Seasholtz/Seasholtz Glass Design - Blown glass bowls, vases, weights. Johnson.
#133: Marion Seasholtz/Wind's Edge Studio & Happy Dog Hand Dyed - Quilts, pillows, hand dyed clothing, banners, windsocks. Johnson.
