Itโs a Great Weekend for Art in Vermont!
There is just soooo much art going on in Vermont this weekend - and just in time for the stunning show of foliage! ๐๐๐
We're going to focus on Montpelier Art Walk today, because we've got some fabulous art headed to gallery this Friday. Just check out their work!
Weโre featuring Montpelier printmaker Jo Marsan of The Campy Bird. Theyโre the second participant in our Emerging Artisan & Art Walk Program.
Jo creates handmade prints of native Vermont plants and animals with an emphasis on line-work, contrast, and vibrant color. They print using environmentally-friendly water-based inks on 100% cotton paper.
They received their BFA in printmaking from Ohio University before settling in Vermont. In addition to printmaking, Jo has a background in graphic design and mural arts. If you're ever in Morrisville, be sure to check out their gorgeous mural at the Village Center Apartments on Hutchins Street.
