Introducing Five Under!

Welcome to Artisans Hand's new limited series we're calling "Five Under". In these posts, we're highlighting gifts that you can get this holiday season at specific price points.

In these posts, we're dispelling the myth that handmade = expensive.

Today we're looking at Five Under $50.00.

First up are ceramic clocks by Deborah Van Ness of Flint Brook Pottery. Deborah has a wonderful way of mixing color, texture, and pattern in her work. Not only are her clocks functional, but they're also art pieces that can live in your home with you. $35.00 each.

Next, we have stained glass bugs by Elga Gemst of Mad Women in the Attic. These bugs are colorful, whimsical, and have so much personality. While bugs aren't usually welcome in one's home, we're sure that people would be delighted to receive these. $48.00 each.

Kathryn Myer’s Garden Pools are so magical. Each piece has a lovely sense of calm about it. The rocks are delightful to hold and feel. The pewter heart adds a touch of love. Even though the body of the garden pool has a texture, it still somehow feels smooth. $38.00 each.

We have the perfect gift for our local home state lovers - a Vermont License Plate frame by Aaron Stein of Revival Studio. The leaf cutout is an is a nice callout to fans of Vermont's State Tree, the Sugar Maple. This frame is a more thoughtful way to share your significant life moments. $38.00 each.

Lastly, we have Leslie Koehler’s painted ceramic mugs. Her painting style is very organic and flowy - it's like the flowers are dancing! Drinking your morning coffee or tea is sure to taste better in one of Leslie's pieces. $40.00 each.

We look forward to seeing you in the gallery and would love to help you to find that perfect (affordable) gift!
